Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation pledges $750K to the NALP Foundation

The NALP Foundation announced that the Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation has pledged $750,000 to support the future of the landscape profession. The gift, to be distributed in three annual installments of $250,000 from 2026 through 2028, is the largest contribution in the foundation’s history.

A supporter over the past four years, the Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation’s new commitment will strengthen several cornerstone initiatives of the National Collegiate Landscape Competition. Funding will support the Student Leadership Luncheon, Scholarship Recognition Breakfast and Business and Leadership Workshops. These programs provide students with direct access to industry leaders, professional development opportunities and recognition for academic and competitive achievement.

“This extraordinary commitment reflects a deep belief in the future of the landscape profession,” said Paul Fraynd, president of the NALP Foundation. “The Kehoe Foundation’s investment will directly impact students as they prepare to enter and lead our industry.”

The Kevin and Lorraine Kehoe Foundation is rooted in Kevin Kehoe’s legacy within the landscape and snow management industries, where he built a groundbreaking career and formed lifelong relationships.

“Kevin built his career on trust and genuine friendships,” said Lorraine Kehoe. “This gift honors his values, legacy and those relationships and helps carry his legacy forward.”

Kevin, along with Mark Tipton, formed Aspire Software a little more than 10 years ago, and collectively helped turn the company into one of the landscape industry’s largest providers of business management software.

In addition to fostering careers in the landscape industry, the Kevin and Lorraine Foundation supports charitable initiatives in education, cancer research and veterans causes.
