Salman Khan threat email has surfaced again, this time not directed at the superstar himself but at a close associate from the film industry. As per the information currently available, the associate received a threatening message over email, with the sender allegedly claiming links to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and demanding a large ransom amount.

The threat was reportedly sent to a close associate of Salman Khan described as an actor working in the industry. The message allegedly demanded crores of rupees and referenced an alleged connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Mumbai Police sources have indicated that the Crime Branch has initiated steps to look into the matter. The focus, as per the reported update, includes tracing suspects and tightening checks in sensitive areas, amid a cluster of recent security alerts involving high profile names from the film world.
At the time of the report, there was also a key procedural detail: no formal police complaint had reportedly been registered by Salman Khan or by the concerned individual in relation to the email.
Security Vigilance In Mumbai After Multiple Celebrity Threats Including To Ranveer Singh
The development came only hours after another reported threat incident involving actor Ranveer Singh, who was said to have received a threatening WhatsApp voice note demanding crores in ransom. Following that incident, police presence outside his residence was reportedly increased and efforts began to trace the sender.
With these incidents occurring close together, Mumbai Police have reportedly stepped up vigilance across the city. The Crime Branch is also said to be tracking mobile locations of suspects near the homes of several celebrities as part of the ongoing verification process.
Background On Salman Khan And Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Tension
Salman Khan has faced security concerns in the past, and the reported email has once again drawn attention to the long running hostility linked to the Bishnoi community. The tension traces back to 1998 during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain, when Salman allegedly went on a hunting trip and hunted a blackbuck, an animal considered sacred by the Bishnoi community.
Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail, has previously publicly stated that he wanted Salman Khan to apologise for the incident.
Mumbai Police are continuing to assess whether the same individuals or network could be connected to multiple recent threats, and officials have not yet confirmed any definitive linkage. The case remains under investigation, and more details are awaited.
