The message, attributed to a man who identifies himself as “Hari Boxer” and claims links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, escalates the intimidation by shifting focus from the actor to people working around him.
The development has added a new layer of concern for Bollywood security, especially as high profile names continue to be mentioned in alleged extortion and threat cases. As of this writing, neither Ranveer Singh nor Rohit Shetty has issued a public statement about the audio message.

In the audio note, the caller introduces himself as Hari Boxer and frames the warning as being directed at the Hindi film industry, specifically taking Ranveer Singh’s name. The voice alleges that Singh has backed out of a prior commitment and demands that he “fall in line,” warning of consequences if he does not comply.
The audio includes the line: “baat se mukarne ki saza kya hoti hai tujhe bataenge (We will show you what the punishment is for breaking your word).”
The message then turns towards the actor’s staff and those who work with him, claiming detailed knowledge of their personal routines and locations. The threat, as conveyed in the audio, suggests the caller would not target Singh directly at first, but would begin by harming members of his team if demands are not met.
Rohit Shetty is also referenced in the message, with the caller warning both him and Ranveer Singh to take the threat seriously. The audio further indicates that similar consequences would follow for others in the film industry who ignore such calls.
Who Is Hari Boxer And Why His Name Has Surfaced Before
Hari Boxer’s name has previously surfaced in connection with incidents tied to threats against entertainment personalities. The same name has been linked to a reported shooting outside Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai by unidentified gunmen.
The name was also associated with a prior case involving gunfire outside a cafe in Canada owned by Kapil Sharma, where a message attributed to Hari Boxer claimed responsibility and issued threats toward Bollywood figures. In that earlier message, the caller had also threatened people associated with Salman Khan.
While the authenticity of the latest audio message has not been independently confirmed, the language used and the explicit mention of “whole team” has intensified concerns. With Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty yet to comment publicly, attention now shifts to how authorities respond to the alleged threat and what security measures may follow.
