Full Weapons List for Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 has finally been unveiled, and we’ve jumped straight into its open beta ahead of its October 10 launch. Here you’ll find every weapon available in BF6 so far.

Whereas past Battlefield tests have been light on the selection of guns and other tools of destruction, the Battlefield 6 beta is more on the generous side, offering players an impressive selection of guns, both old and new, that look and sound great, and handle, in our humble opinion, even better.

Below you’ll find an up-to-date list of every weapon available in BF6 so far. After the open beta is over, we’ll also continue to update this article with the latest news on the complete list of weapons that will be present at launch. Moreover, like in past entries, expect the post-launch seasons to bring in even more guns and tools.

All Battlefield 6 primary weapons

Primary weapons in Battlefield 6 are spread across seven distinct categories. While the game allows every class (the traditional system is back) to equip every type of weapon, each class has a ‘signature weapon’ they’re better with. For example, the Recon class favours sniper rifles, which allow that type of soldier to hold their breath while aiming.

Weapons are unlocked as new career ranks are reached. Keep playing, and you’ll be expanding your armory in no time. As for weapon customization, attachments are also unlocked as you level up each gun. Each attachment uses up a number of points inside the customization menu, and you can mix-and-match them however you like as long as you stay below the limit.

Here’s the complete list of BF6 primary weapons, split into categories, at the time of writing:

Assault rifles (signature weapon: Assault)

The Assault class gets faster draw and switch times, plus better sprint recovery, while using assault rifles.

  • NVO-228E – This powerful assault rifle chambered in 7.62 Soviet is a reliable weapon designed for mid-range encounters.
  • B36A4 – A versatile carbine that can be modified to compete in both close-quarters or ranged encounters.
  • M433 – Chambered in 5.56x45mm, this cutting-edge rifle is best suited at closer ranges due to its above average rate of fire.

Carbines

  • M4A1 – With its high cyclic rate, extending this carbine’s effective range requires competent recoil management.
  • AK-205 – With an average cyclic rate and 5.45x39mm chambering, this rifle offers superior ranged performance.
  • M417 A2 – Chambered in 7.62x51mm, this compact battle rifle offsets its high damage with a steady rate of fire.

SMGs (signature weapon: Engineer)

The Engineer class enjoys improved hip-fire control while using SMGs.

  • SGX – A modern 9x19mm PDW suited for close-range engagements. Can be configured to improve its ranged capabilities.
  • PW7A2 – A 4.6x30mm chambering ensures this PDW outperforms at range. Still effective in close quarters due to its high rate of fire.

LMGs (signature weapon: Support)

The Support class can sprint with no speed penalty while using LMGs.

  • L110 – An all-purpose Squad Automatic Weapon chambered in 5.56x45mm. Well-matched for most engagements.
  • KTS100 MK8 – With low recoil and a steady RPM, this light machine gun’s moderate damage is offset by accurate suppressive fire.

DMRs

  • M39 EMR – Chambered in 7.62x51mm, this versatile marksman rifle is a solid addition to any squad arsenal.
  • SVK-8.6 A precision rifle chambered in the powerful 8.6x70mm cartridge. A lower effective rate of fire offsets its lethality.

Sniper rifles (signature weapon: Recon)

The Recon class can stabilize aim by holding their breath and rechambering more quickly between shots while using sniper rifles.

  • M2010 ESR – This accurate bolt-action sniper rifle reaches targets at greater distances with its .300 WM chambering.

Shotguns

  • M87A1 – A reliable pump-action shotgun chambered with 3” shells for improved stopping power.

All Battlefield 6 secondary weapons

Any class can also equip secondary weapons in BF6, and we’re expecting them all to be pistols, handguns, and revolvers. As it stands, there’s only one secondary weapon in the open beta.

  • P18 – A reliable sidearm able to meet the demands of almost any combat scenario.

If you’re planning to play during the open beta weekends, make sure you obtain the current Twitch drops by watching streamers also jumping into BF6’s chaotic battles. VoIP, full-match text chat, and crossplay are also available in this test, with a fully featured server browser coming at launch.
