Priyanka Chopra is back in India to work on her new movie. She landed in Hyderabad on Monday morning with her young daughter, Malti Marie. Fans are very excited because this return is for her much-awaited film with superstar Mahesh Babu, which is being directed by the famous SS Rajamouli. The movie is currently titled SSMB 29.
This project is one of the biggest films being made in India and will mark Priyanka’s return to Indian cinema after some time. While she has been quiet about the film, her arrival in Hyderabad has started a lot of buzz.
A Warm Welcome To Hyderabad
Priyanka shared the happy news of her arrival with her fans on Instagram stories. She posted two sweet pictures. The first photo showed Malti’s small hands and feet, which she captioned: “Mama and Malti.” The next picture was of Malti looking out of a car window at the new city. On this photo, Priyanka wrote: “Hyderabad we made it.”
Even though she did not officially say why she was in the City of Pearls, everyone believes it is to start shooting for SSMB 29. The movie is being made on a very large and lavish budget.
What We Know About ‘SSMB 29’
This new movie is a huge action-adventure film that will also have parts of history and mythology in it. A big portion of the film was already shot in Odisha. Now, the team is getting ready to shoot in other countries. According to reports, the next schedule will start in South Africa in August. After that, the team will also shoot in Europe.
A source told India Today that the locations in Africa were chosen because they have the right kind of landscapes for the film’s adventurous story. The movie is planned to be released in 2027.
Priyanka Chopra’s Other Big Movies
Priyanka has a very busy schedule with many other international movies. She will soon be seen in an action-comedy called Heads of State, where she acts with John Cena and Idris Elba. After that, she will star in The Bluff, a drama where she plays a pirate from the 19th century. That film also stars Karl Urban.
Besides these movies, Priyanka will also return for the second season of her popular spy series, Citadel. She will play the role of agent Nadia again.

SSMB 29 (a temporary title) is an upcoming action-adventure film from director SS Rajamouli.
