- ELLEGARDEN has been selected to perform the opening theme for the currently airing TV anime ONE PIECE.
- The offer to create the new theme was extended to ELLEGARDEN’s vocalist and guitarist, Takeshi Hosomi, a longtime fan of the series. He gladly accepted, saying, “If it’s for ONE PIECE, absolutely.” This marks the first time he has written a song specifically for an anime.
- A promotional video featuring the track is now available on the official ONE PIECE YouTube channel, and it was announced that the song will be released digitally at 23:45 on August 10.
- The first episode to feature the new opening theme, “Carmine,” will air at 23:15 on August 10.
