The makers of the upcoming romantic thriller, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, have announced a shift in the film’s release date. The movie, which stars the fresh pairing of Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, was initially scheduled to release on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2. However, the film will now hit theatres later in the month, on October 21, 2025, positioning it for a pre-festive season release.
A New Poster For A New Date
To accompany the announcement, the producers unveiled a new version of the film’s poster. The visual reportedly features the lead actors in a gripping and intense moment, effectively hinting at the passionate and dramatic tone of the movie. The project was first announced on Valentine’s Day earlier this year, originally under the title Deewaniyat. In June, Harshvardhan Rane took to social media to share that the film’s shooting schedule had been completed. He shared a behind-the-scenes video from the wrap-up celebrations, which also captured an unexpectedly dramatic moment. A minor pyrotechnic mishap occurred on set, but fortunately, the cast and crew remained unharmed, and filming was concluded safely and successfully.
Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and produced by Anshul Garg, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is being touted as an intense cocktail of love, drama, and obsession.
