Google has evidently had enough with the constant stream of leaks concerning its next flagship smartphone series, and has revealed the design of the Pixel 10.
We know pretty much all there is to know about the Google Pixel 10 by now. Its design and specs have emerged, first as a steady drip, then a deluge of information from various sources.
Weāll discuss the latest of those in just a moment, but the most important news is that Google has evidently had enough. Over on the official Google Store, a teaser has appeared for the companyās next phone.
Google goes early
We say āteaserā, but really itās more of an initial reveal.
Under the headline āGoogle Pixel 10. Coming on 20 Augustā, and a box for signing up to receive more news, thereās a brief animated video that shows the Pixel 10 emerging from the number 10. It culminates in a full rear angled view of the phone.
Specifically, this would appear to the Pixel 10 Pro, given the presence of a temperature sensor immediately underneath the camera flash.
The colour on display here is a matte greyish tone that has been previously referred to as āMoonstoneā, complete with the same kind of shiny rim as the Google Pixel 9 Pro.

Rendering Google speechless
By way of an explanation as to why Google might be cool with revealing its new flagship phone a full month ahead of time, on the very same day over on Android Headlines, we have a bunch of detailed Pixel 10 renders.
Here we see Googleās new mainstream phone in all four of its alleged launch colours: Obsidian, Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello.
That latter Limoncello colour makes quite a visual impact. Itās as queasily garish as the Italian tipple itself.
Notable by its absence is any sort of Obsidian option. As predicted, Google appears to be ditching its traditional white option in favour of the cooler, bluer Frost.

Android Headlines
The images give us a look at the biggest addition to the entire non-Pro Pixel range in some time āĀ a dedicated telephoto camera. This results in the camera module being much closer to the Pixel 9 Pro in shape and size.
Weāre expecting smaller sensors to differentiate the phone from its Pro brother. Rumours suggest a 48MP main, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10.8MP telephoto ā the former two of which could be lifted straight from the Google Pixel 9a.
All of which suggests, by our estimation, a camera downgrade from the Google Pixel 9. Weāll know for sure in around a monthās time.
