Welcome To Plathville is exposing a fascinating rivalry between two of the Plath siblings that most viewers aren’t likely to have noticed in the past. As Welcome To Plathville continues to show Lydia in a specifically positive light, it’s clear that her relationship with Moriah has been difficult to handle. Lydia and Moriah may have been close in the past, but with Moriah moving to Montana seemingly on a whim as Lydia plans her quick wedding, the sisters haven’t connected. In fact, they’ve developed a rivalry.
While Lydia and Moriah may not have a traditional sibling rivalry, it’s been shown in previous seasons that the sisters used to be quite close. With Moriah moving away from the family and Lydia starting her life, both are vying for their parents’ attention in different ways.
