Mids are in an interesting spot right now, because of how the Offlane meta works. Since most players now default back to the basics in the Offlane, it opens up quite a bit of space for slightly greedier mids. Someone on your team will take care of auras and early game playmaking, while you, as a mid, should concentrate on scaling in the current patch.
