Becoming a homeowner is one of those milestones that can be very different for each person. For some, it’s a moment of relief at finally being free from landlords or meeting social expectations. For others, it’s a mild panic when they see the first mortgage repayment turn up and realise this is going to be a part of their lives for the next two decades or longer.
